A V Kanthamma College is a renowned women educational College located in the heart of the Hassan. The College has since provided students with a quality education and a safe learning environment

With a well-resourced library, modern classrooms, and experienced faculty, the College strives to create an atmosphere of learning, growth, and exploration for its students. The College provides a rich curriculum that includes core subjects as Science, Arts, Computer Application and Commerce as well as a wide range of co-curricular activities like art, music, theatre, and sports. A V Kanthamma College offers a holistic education, focusing on developing the intellectual, emotional, and physical well-being of its students. The college has also implemented a number of initiatives to promote environmental awareness and sustainability, gender sensitivity, inclusiveness, and community services. It has given shelter to more than 300 out station students in the well-established hostel situated in the college campus.

PRINCIPAL'S DESK It gives me great pleasure to invite you to take an initial peek into A.V.Kanthamma College for Women, Hassan which has 5 decades of history and constant development. A.V.Kanthamma College for women established in 1966 is the second venture of Malnad Technical Education Society® and is affiliated to the University of Mysore. It is one of the colleges recognized for its excellence and hence sought after by the fresh applicants. As of today, we have 1100 students belonging to Science, Humanities and Commerce stream. The institution offers BA, BSc, BCom and BCA programmes.
